Sunburn relief spray

Enjoy those summer days on the beach and don’t forget to apply some sun block, but if you do here is a great sunburn relief spray that can easily help you heal your skin.

-1 cup Aloe Vera Juice;

-1 tablespoon Vitamin E oil;

-5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil.

Combine all the ingredients in a large spray bottle. Shake well before use. Spray on skin for soothing and cooling effect. Store in the refrigerator when not in use.

Green tea contains powerful anti-oxidants; tannic acid and catechin that neutralize free radicals and protect the skin against damage from harmful UV radiation and help prevent skin cancer. Green tea will help also to reduce inflammation and redness.

Tired foot soak

What can be better than a relaxing foot bath for your tired feet after a busy day? Try this relaxing foot soak to take f0d31dd37c16a5b01f5444944ba3d0e3the weight off those tired, aching feet and soften dry, cracked skin.

-1/2 cup Epsom Salt

-1/2 cup Chamomile Flowers;

-1 tablespoon of baking soda;

-5 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil.

Take a large bowl or container big enough to fit both of your feet. Fill 1/3 of it with freshly boiled water and steep chamomile flowers in it for about 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl mix well and add the same amount of comfortably hot water. Soak feet for 20-25 minutes or until water begins to cool.

Epsom salt cleanses and draws out toxins from your body, eases muscle tension, pain and stiffness. Epsom salt has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties and can also help to treat foot odors and various fungal conditions. While your feet are absorbing the minerals from the salt it helps to improve circulatory system and nerve function.

Non-greasy moisturizing lotion

Great light moisturizing lotion that takes no time to be absorbed. Perfect for warm summer month or as just an easy and fast treat you can add to your after shower routine.

-2 tablespoons of Sweet Almond Oil;

-2 tablespoons of Jojoba Oil;

-10 drops of Ylang, Ylang Essential Oil.

 

 

Melt the Shea butter in a pan over low heat. Add the oils and put the mixture in the fridge to cool for 10-15 minutes, just till it starts to solidify, but not fully hardened. Add the essential oil. Using a hand mixer, blend it for a couple of minutes till it becomes creamy. Transfer to a small jar.

-1 cup Epsom Salt;

-1 cup Dead Sea Salt;

-1/2 cup baking soda;

-10 drops Lavender Essential Oil.

Fill your bath with warm/hot water, add all the ingredients and agitate to dissolve. Soak in the bath for 30-40 minutes. Note that you might feel tired after the bath, so you would rather do it in the end of the day right before going to bed.
