Salt detox bath

A detox bath is a great way to help cleanse the body and relax the mind.

-1 cup Epsom Salt;

-1 cup Dead Sea Salt;

-1/2 cup baking soda;

-10 drops Lavender Essential Oil.

Fill your bath with warm/hot water, add all the ingredients and agitate to dissolve. Soak in the bath for 30-40 minutes. Note that you might feel tired after the bath, so you would rather do it in the end of the day right before going to bed.

Epsom salt cleanses and draws out toxins from your body, eases muscle tension and pain, improves circulatory system and nerve functions. Allows minerals to absorb easier through the skin.

Sea salt, when combined with warm water, will help open up the pores, pull toxins out of the body and provide your skin with many minerals and nutrients, giving you a healthy and youthful glow. Sea salt also can help to treat certain skin conditions such as dermatitis and psoriasis.

Baking soda is a great way for neutralizing the chlorine that’s been added to most city water sources. Soaking in baking soda can help regulate your skin’s PH level, sooth irritated skin, refresh, renew and soften dry skin.

Lavender essential oil most commonly known for its relaxing properties, and can be used for alleviating anxiety, depression, insomnia, restlessness and stress. The fragrance is relaxing, calming and balancing – both emotionally and physically.
